2 Peter 1...

...sez:

Simon Peter, am a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ. I write this to you whose experience with God is as life-changing as ours, all due to our God's straight dealing and the intervention of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to you many times over as you deepen in your experience with God and Jesus, our Master.

Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.

So don't lose a minute in building on what you've been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet, no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus. Without these qualities you can't see what's right before you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off the books.

So, friends, confirm God's invitation to you, his choice of you. Don't put it off; do it now. Do this, and you'll have your life on a firm footing, the streets paved and the way wide open into the eternal kingdom of our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ.

- The Message version

Amazing! as I came to my God, on bended knees He has asked me to read 2 Peter chapter 1. This He spoke to me and I listened carefully. I read the chapter thoroughly and slowly. As I did this, a few words beamed in highlights as I slowly read. This was surely a follow-up He was trying to send me. After that wonderful experience I just had, He certainly wanted to make clear that It wasn't just a so-called experience. It was REAL!

Surely it was a life-changing experience within 20 mints and He certainly wants to build a deeper relationship with me. Not just any kind of relationship but a personal and intimate one. And He has certainly proved it to me that this is the very best invitation I could ever receive. WOW! Surely my God keeps His promises and He has already given me the tickets to participation in the life of God after everything that is I've been through in life of the world which is full of ugliness and which leaves me nothing but cuts and bruises.

I trust that this is a beginning for everything. Where He would help me grow in better character, help build in me better understanding as I continue my spiritual journey, staying alert and disciplined, being more passionate and patient in every single situation in life, with reverent wonder, being a better friend whose heart is filled with warmth and complete generosity.

With these teachings, I believe that He would like to see me grow as I learn and do more in His will for me. He loves me too much to see me get blinded by all the darkness the world is causing and to lose my way again and again.

This is certainly a wonderful experience and I don't ever want to put this encounter off. I wanna do it NOW and always. To be His servant and to be the daughter He wants me to be.

"Dear daddy Jesus, I pray that you continue to reveal to me your calling upon my life and use me in the ways you want to. That you would open up my eyes to see the things you reveal before me, to stay alert and focused on every command you send me. I thank you for everything. Amen!"

Ps. Thank you so much for your prayers guyz. Cass, Abs & Vel, you've been an encouragement. Thank You! God Bless!

20 minutes

I just wanna declare that MY GOD IS A GREAT BIG GOD AND AN AWESOME GOD!!! WOOT!

Last night while I was having my quite time at approximately 11:15pm God has revealed to me a vision supported with verses in the book of John, Psalm and Proverbs. This vision has been around for quite some time now but never taken seriously. I just never really understood what God was trying to show me till' last night. A tap on the shoulders was how God gained my attention.

John 14:5-7 sez:

"I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. But you cannot do anything without me. If you don't stay joined to me, you will be thrown away. You will be like dry branches that are gathered up and burned in fire. Stay joined to me and let my teaching become part of you. Then you can pray for whatever you want"

Psalm 37:34 sez:

"Wait passionately for God, don't leave the path. He'll give you your place in the sun while you watch the wicked lose it"

Proverbs 13:12 sez:

"Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around."

God honestly spoke to me through these verses. Such an awesome experience it was to just simply come before Him, for once not speaking a word, but simply keeping silent to give way for him to speak to me. Never have I felt such Joy and Comfort within me. The moment was real and felt such warmth in His presence. It's such a wonderful encounter with my God, my Friend, my dad and the lover of my soul. Truly amazing what He did to my life in just 20 mints of my time. It completely changed the entire me and when I say change, it was definitely a good change.

I have always wanted to be closer to my God, to build an intimate relationship and to have such an inseparable friendship with. But over the years, I found it so difficult and tiring. Tiring for me to look for Him in places where He is no where to be found, nor heard. Like as though I was just fooling myself most of the time. Like I was talking to thin air. But I realized that I was talking too much most of the time. Like ALWAYS blabbering about complaints, pouring out anger and annoyance and just simply talkin' about non-sense. I was just too impatient to wait for His response and end up doin' my own thing. But in that 20 mints, the Lord said to me:

"Wait passionately for God, don't leave the path." - Psalm 37:34

Passionately was the word! It's just like Sleeping Beauty having the desire to wait for Her Prince to come and give her a kiss to wake her up from the nasty spell which was cast on her. And my eyes have been pretty much shut closed most of the time. Waiting on God hasn't been the same for me.

But as it is written in John 14:

"Stay joined to me and let my teaching become part of you. Then you can pray for whatever you want"

These words He spoke to me was the Kiss He gave me that opened my eyes. The Lord wants me to stay with Him and cling on to Him for He has surely brought me here today for an adventurous ride of Salvation. And so I prayed a prayer:

"Lord, my savior, I come before you. Here I am, all yours. Take me. Work in me. I am passionately yearning for you to re-construct my heart. Use me in your own will and may your will be done."

Silence surrounded the room.

Then slowly He held my hands to turn the pages of the bible and led me to the Book of Proverbs:

"Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around."

My life certainly changed. In 20 mints of my time, surely that was an amazing break. My daddy Jesus already took me on a joy ride to salvation. It sure wasn't enough and left me yearning for Him even more.

Then He left me with a vision. A vision that I have seen before but never took on seriously. When I asked my God to re-construct my heart, He reminded me of the passion I used to have. The Lord has given me the heart for the broken, the lost and the poor. Whenever the Lord puts me in a situation where I dealt with being around the people who were lost and broken, my heart would ache. Like as though I've just been through a break-up in a relationship. It would hurt as much as I see the people who are homeless and have not enough food to eat. This is where the Lord has taken me to see. What He has set in my heart. And so I prayed another prayer:

"Lord, if this is what you set in my heart, lead me to the direction you are taking me. Show me the route to take so I could walk your walk."

It's been years that the Lord has been telling me this, but I just never thought of listening to Him. Yearly, SAC would have mission trips to different parts of the world. Most of the time, my excuse would be either because I am having my exams or that I would be away for a vacation. Didn't think I'd be ready for anything that BIG. Missions was something i never took seriously but for one, end up regretting for not being able to go to. The feeling of having that opportunity waisted was devastating. Therefore, again! The Lord revealed to me the word M.I.S.S.I.O.N.S.

Yip! The vision for mission.. WOW! When the Lord said this to me, I was left with the feeling of joy right from the heart. Which was pretty unusual for me compared to my previous reactions as to having said that I have to go for missions. It is pretty exciting as I have never been in any missions before.

My God is surely amazing and I can't wait to serve Him in the will He has set for me. And I am continuously praying for this. My dearest daddy Jesus is so good and His mercy endures forever. Amen!

Hating Good byes...

Distance surely kills when the people you get to finally know leaves. Sure! That's what we call L.I.F.E.

Lately, I've been left thinking about when would be the next time we meet. Friendships are sooo challenging to maintain when there's such a big gap in between. I am one who can't easily maintain that distance easily, but try very hard!

Dang it! Oughta do something to get my mind off this crap mode. :P

Choices, Choices, Choices....

Hmmm... Lately, I've been thinking of getting me the right cam but again its all about making the right choices when it comes to these gadgy stuff. I mean, no one wants to end up getting something which ain't worth the savings and that doesn't satisfy ones requirement in any gadgy...

...and I'm pretty bad at this stuff! =P I kinda need some advice on this. PROFESSIONAL HELP! Anyone?!? HAHAH...

As for those of you who know me pretty well, I've been itchin' to get an SLR cam one day but clearly I know that, that's rather beyond my budget at the moment so that's pretty much off the list. =P I've been stuck with a low resolution cam that pretty much satisfies me ones in a while but bugs me most of the time about how low its capabilities are. I mean, hello! Its just a 3.2 megapix cam, which isn't entirely called a digital cam per say. LOL =P Therefore, as for people like me who likes to take some "random-but-rather-creative-shots" needs to advance oneself on a gadgy. Correct?!

So so... I've done a lil' survey on some existing digi cams / semi SLR, which are within my realistic budget. Haha... therefore, based on their features that meet my requirements I've listed them in the following...

Choice # 1:

SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-H7

Features taken from:

Choice # 2

SONY CYBER-SHOT DSC-W300

Choice # 3:

CANON POWERSHOT S5 IS
Features taken from:

Choice # 4:

OLYMPUS MJU 850SW

Features taken from:

Choice #5:

OLYMPUS MJU 1200

Features taken from:

So... That's quite a lot of choices to make really. But at the moment I've got my eyes on the first choice. Its affordable, and it certainly meets most of my needs in one cam. Just thought maybe someone could at least try and advice me more on these gadgy or perhaps someone has another recommendation? Hehe...

Oh by the way, I thought of including the Pink Olympus for its waterproof feature and NOT for its colour ok? HAHA.. just so yo know alright?! =P Having this kinda cam around seems rather convenient to throw around the pool. But HEY! its not like i go swimming all the time right?! I just find it rather amusing. LOL =P So i suppose picture quality-wise not so?? I dunno lah! I still think the first choice is satisfying enough. You reckon?
