There's one in all of us...

Right now... no! scrap that - This past few days... there's this lil' monster that's taking a whole lot of me. A whoOOle LOT! This lil' bugger's got me from tip to toe. Not sure for how long but I certainly wanna get rid of it real quick.

Not in the mood to talk to anyone about it. Don't really care. You see? There it is at me - teaching that lil' dunno-don-care attitude that snaps right back atcha.

Oh and great! Starting my morning today was rather irritating. Got someone yelling "You're so FAT" at me today and guess what the lil monster in me wanted to do? Strangle? Kick? Slap? GRrrr... Believe the idiot!!! I would've done all the above but I wasn't exactly fit to do all the lil stunts. Jeez...

Honestly! I am not feeling so good - not just about that insult I had this morning - but about ALOT of things. Specifically Me-myself-and-I! Times when I just wanna be alone because chances are when you're probably with me now - I might just even hurt you with my words - not really physically. :P And mind you - I have actually hurt someone many times with my mouth and I just don't ever want that to happen again.

I'm trying to find myself in this situation, What's in my heart. Nobody wants to be the bad guy, although sometimes i do feel i am and it's killing me. I'm feeling a lot of pain for not treating people right and being downright honest with them. I'm tired of pleasing people and to even care what the heck their thinking about. Certainly these are just the times when I don't really wanna care about what people think of me. Or should I? Ahhh snap! This is it. This is what I'm talking about..

I'm hoping this is just a phase I have to go through. Deal with. Learn from. Stay away from? I'm not sure about the last point. I haven't really stayed away from it since the last time I've actually felt this way. Even after having someone to give me comforting advices. At some point, i just end up feeling this way over and over again. Like syit!

Ahhh... bullocks! This is just how that lil' monster in me looks like. I'd like to think of it as cute. I'm not sure what this is telling me about ME. But somehow, reading the story about this lil' boy in "Where the wild things are", just tames that monster in me. It's this irritating adventure I have to go through in life at 21.

I don't wanna keep trying to be a better person - I want to do all things good by being a good person - that pleases my Father in heaven. This is it! My challenge...

MEN! Please be Warned!!!

These are "the 9 famous words" which women use as a weapon. So If you "men" out there get to read this, you know what to do, aight?!?

(1) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm.This means something and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead :This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh :This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks :A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' ... that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever :Is a women's way of saying STUFF YOU!

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it :Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

True! so so True!!! =P

Choices, Choices, Choices....

Hmmm... Lately, I've been thinking of getting me the right cam but again its all about making the right choices when it comes to these gadgy stuff. I mean, no one wants to end up getting something which ain't worth the savings and that doesn't satisfy ones requirement in any gadgy...

...and I'm pretty bad at this stuff! =P I kinda need some advice on this. PROFESSIONAL HELP! Anyone?!? HAHAH...

As for those of you who know me pretty well, I've been itchin' to get an SLR cam one day but clearly I know that, that's rather beyond my budget at the moment so that's pretty much off the list. =P I've been stuck with a low resolution cam that pretty much satisfies me ones in a while but bugs me most of the time about how low its capabilities are. I mean, hello! Its just a 3.2 megapix cam, which isn't entirely called a digital cam per say. LOL =P Therefore, as for people like me who likes to take some "random-but-rather-creative-shots" needs to advance oneself on a gadgy. Correct?!

So so... I've done a lil' survey on some existing digi cams / semi SLR, which are within my realistic budget. Haha... therefore, based on their features that meet my requirements I've listed them in the following...

Oh by the way, I thought of including the Pink Olympus for its waterproof feature and NOT for its colour ok? HAHA.. just so yo know alright?! =P Having this kinda cam around seems rather convenient to throw around the pool. But HEY! its not like i go swimming all the time right?! I just find it rather amusing. LOL =P So i suppose picture quality-wise not so?? I dunno lah! I still think the first choice is satisfying enough. You reckon?

Lately...

...I've been trying to practice. HAHA =P True lah! I seriously need to improve on my scales. Obviously, the above proves it all (Click to enlarge). LOL My master in scales (Mr. Terence Sangilos =P) had to help me fill in the blanks. Of course, the ones in pink are the ones I've filled up. Slowly getting there. My biggest problem is "Self-Discipline" I need a slap on the face just to get me focused on certain things like these. LOL =P So Mr. T, you know what to do next time yea?!? =P

A moment of appreciation...

So, it turns out that the First day of Raya will be tomorrow (Sat, 13/10/07) and not today. Yes! Which means i've still got work. It's just too quiet now in the office, since practically everyone is in a holiday mood already. But ofcourse, thanx for the free time that i managed to post up something in my "First-ever-blog" ^_^ Just never really thought i could commit to up-dating a blog if i had one. But since i've started one already, will certainly try my best to keep things on the right track.

There's so many things I wan't to praise God for and one of them has to be today! From where my office is located, i could see a beautiful view of the centre of the capital. Its just one of those moments where you stop and just appreciate how beautiful Brunei is. The fresh, clean air and gorgeous sight of it is just enough to leave us being thankful for being in a country like this. =) Indeed it is a blessing for my family and i to have this opportunity to stay here. It has always been a place called home for us although we come from a different race.

Just a moment of appreciation guys! hehe... i'll try not to be too emo about it. =P till my next post...
